Sing so much that someone tells you to shut-up and you won't be fearful again. Sing -- even if you are really lousy at it.
If you are truly too shy to do this -- the shower is also a good option and so it belting out a tune in the car. This may sound frightening. It will also give you valuable thinking time. I speak two languages and am learning another. If I can do it, you certainly can.
You should, at least become somewhat acquainted with a foreign language. After all, this helps you learn about new cultures, exposes you to new people and helps you become more open-minded. The older you get, however, the more challenging but not impossible this will become.
Go camping. Not glamping, either. We mean legit, set-up-your-tent-yourself-and-suffer-through-the-mozzies camping. Learn to meditate. And "namaste" your way to a better life. Learn about politics. You should know the difference between the Senate and a socialist. Take a roadtrip. Whether solo, with bae, or your best m8s.
The feeling will be priceless. Treat yourself to a fancy dining experience. As a reward for Volunteer for a cause you believe in. Not just as a one-off, either—make it a regular thing. Live abroad. If only for the hot foreign strangers. Cross off some of the classics. Take control of your sexual health. Which means finding the right birth control for you, and making time for regular STD checks, among other things.
Do something that scares you. Working out does not have to be a chore, make it fun! Some things we do to change it up: Tennis, biking, hiking, running, basketball, playing catch, walking the dog, skiing, swimming, and more. Buy simply doing your due diligence ahead of time and having a mechanic look over your car before you purchase you can save thousands upon thousands of dollars.
